Italy’s Northern Delights: a guided tasting of 6 northern Italian fine wines
Participants will taste 6 northern Italian wines imported to the U.S. by legendary importer of French wines, Kermit Lynch (Berkeley, California). Lynch made his name as one of the first importers to bring natural-style Châteauneuf-du-Pape and single-vineyard Beaujolais Cru to this country in the 1970s and 1980s. Now, the man with the Midas touch has shifted his focus to Italy, where he continues to search for natural-style, food-friendly and affordable wines. Participants will be among the first in the state to taste these exciting new arrivals.
